“Your story matters. Your care should honour it.”

Welcome to our clinic!

Below you’ll find what to expect at your first appointment with each of our specialists. Each service is designed to provide personalised, supportive care from your very first visit.

Psychiatry

  • INITIAL

Your initial psychiatry appointment is a comprehensive 45–60 minute assessment.
During this session, your psychiatrist will take a detailed history, review any reports or referrals, and work with you to form an accurate understanding of your needs. You’ll leave with a clear treatment plan and recommendations for follow-up care.

If you’re seeing us for an ADHD assessment, your first appointment involves a detailed discussion about your symptoms, childhood history, school reports (provided PRIOR to this appointment), and day-to-day functioning. Your psychiatrist will guide you through each step, explain the assessment process clearly, and outline what to expect moving forward.

A detailed report is also sent to you & your GP

  • TREATMENT PLANNING / REVIEW

Your second appointment is where everything comes together.
During this session, your psychiatrist will review your assessment results, discuss your diagnosis (if applicable), and walk you through a personalised treatment plan. This may include medication options, therapy recommendations, lifestyle strategies, or referrals.
It’s a collaborative conversation designed to help you feel informed, supported, and confident about the next steps.

If you’re completing an ADHD assessment, this appointment is where your psychiatrist reviews your history, reports, and assessment findings in detail. They’ll explain any diagnosis clearly and discuss whether a medication trial is appropriate. You’ll receive a treatment plan tailored to your needs, along with guidance for the weeks ahead.

  • MEDICATION REVIEW / MONITORING SESSION

Your third appointment focuses on how you’re feeling after starting treatment. Your psychiatrist will check in on your progress, discuss any changes you’ve noticed, and adjust your medication or plan if needed. This is a safe space to share what’s working, what isn’t, and what support you need moving forward

For ADHD treatment, your third appointment reviews how you’re responding to the initial medication trial. Your psychiatrist will discuss improvements, side effects, and daily functioning, and may adjust the medication or dosage to ensure the best possible outcome.

  • ONGOING CARE

Your ongoing care appointment is a chance to check in, see how you’re feeling, and make sure your treatment continues to support you well. As things in life change, your plan can change with you. These sessions help keep you steady, safe, and progressing at a pace that feels right.

For ADHD, ongoing reviews are essential to monitor how well your medication is working day-to-day. Your psychiatrist will check symptom control, side effects, executive functioning, and adjust your plan as needed to keep you feeling balanced and focused.

  • EARLY SESSIONS – Exploring & Working Through Challenges

Vlado helps you unpack patterns, emotions, relationships, stressors or life events that may be contributing to your current difficulties (for example: anxiety, mood disorders, sleep issues, relationship or grief‑related stress, or work‑related pressures).

Together, you’ll build understanding, coping strategies, and practical tools tailored to your life.

  • ONGOING THERAPY

Ongoing sessions provide consistent, long-term support as you move through life’s ups and downs. Whether you need help managing stress, adapting to change, navigating relationships, or maintaining mental wellbeing, Vlado is there to support you.

Therapy becomes a steady resource you can rely on a space where you can reflect, grow, and build resilience over time.

Vlado works with a broad range of concerns, including but not limited to: anxiety disorders, mood disorders, attention‑deficit/hyperactivity (ADHD), sleep disorders, sexual & gender‑related issues, relationship or marital problems, anger management, grief and loss, stress and work-related stress.

This wide scope ensures you’re supported across many aspects of mental health and life challenges.

Paediatrician

  • INITIAL

Your child’s first appointment with Dr Frank Chen is a thorough and welcoming health review. During this session, he will take time to understand your child’s medical history, growth, and development, and discuss any concerns you may have, from everyday issues like eczema, asthma, or constipation, to behavioural, learning, or developmental questions.

Dr Chen may perform a physical examination if needed and will provide guidance, reassurance, and a personalised plan tailored to your child’s needs.

  • FOLLOW-UP & PROGRESS MONITORING

Follow-up visits are scheduled as needed to track your child’s growth, development, or ongoing health concerns. These sessions allow Dr Chen to monitor chronic conditions such as asthma, allergies, or sleep issues, adjust treatment plans, and answer any new questions that arise.

Follow-ups ensure your child continues to progress and that your family feels supported every step of the way.

  • PROBLEM-SPECIFIC & ACUTE CARE

If your child experiences a new health concern, illness, or injury, Dr Chen provides focused, problem-specific appointments. These visits are designed to quickly assess and manage acute issues, for example, infections, injuries, sudden behavioural changes, or digestive concerns.

The goal is to provide timely, effective care while offering guidance on next steps and ongoing management if needed.

  • ONGOING & LONG-TERM SUPPORT

For children with chronic conditions, developmental challenges, or complex medical needs, ongoing care is key. Dr Chen works collaboratively with families, GPs, allied health professionals, and schools to ensure a holistic approach.

Regular visits help monitor long-term growth and wellbeing, provide early intervention for emerging concerns, and support your child’s health and development from infancy through adolescence.

Physiotherapy

  • INITIAL

Your first physiotherapy session with Christos begins with a full-body movement assessment. Rather than just focusing on where it hurts, he’ll look at how your body moves overall, posture, gait, joint alignment and movement patterns. This holistic approach helps identify root causes of pain or dysfunction that might be overlooked in traditional treatments.

From there, you'll walk away with a clear understanding of what’s contributing to your discomfort and what needs to change.

  • FOLLOW-UP SESSIONS & TREATMENT

Follow-up appointments focus on putting your plan into action. Christos uses hands-on therapy, guided exercises, and movement retraining to address your specific issues. He works with you to improve strength, flexibility, and functional movement, while monitoring progress and adjusting your program as needed.

These sessions ensure that your rehabilitation is effective, safe, and targeted to help you achieve your goals, whether that’s returning to sport, regaining everyday mobility, or reducing chronic pain.

  • ONGOING CARE & PERFORMANCE MAINTENANCE

Ongoing physiotherapy is about long-term health, injury prevention, and optimal movement. Christos offers regular check-ins or maintenance sessions to ensure your body continues to move efficiently and pain-free.

Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, recovering from previous injuries, or wanting to improve athletic performance, ongoing care helps you maintain strength, mobility, and function while reducing the risk of future injury.

  • WHAT CHRISTOS WORKS WITH

Christos treats a wide range of musculoskeletal and movement-related issues. He helps athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and everyday individuals with conditions such as foot or heel pain, plantar fasciitis, Morton's neuroma, postural and gait problems, joint or muscle injuries, and chronic movement restrictions.

His approach is holistic, focusing on improving overall movement and function, not just treating the area of pain, so you can achieve lasting results and return to the activities you love.
