Christos Hughes - Physiotherapist (Hons)

Christos brings over 11 years of physiotherapy experience shaped by a lifelong passion for movement. Before becoming a physio, he was a top footballer and futsal player, representing England Futsal internationally and standing on the edge of a promising career.

Chronic pain changed that path. After years spent in physio rooms searching for answers that never fully resolved his symptoms, Christos made the difficult decision to step away from professional sport. Instead, he chose physiotherapy, determined to understand the human body on a deeper level and help others avoid the same hopelessness he once felt.

He graduated in 2014 from the University of Central Lancashire (UK) and went on to gain extensive experience across leading NHS and private hospitals in the UK, as well as working within private practice in New Zealand and Australia. Through this journey, combined with advanced study and thousands of hours working with clients, Christos discovered that the key to overcoming pain wasn’t external treatments, but restoring the body’s natural movement.

Today, he helps people move better by addressing whole-body patterns, not just the site of pain. His approach reflects his own recovery: when the body moves efficiently, pain reduces, strength returns, and life opens up again.
